Estimate litres of water from a count of AI queries and millilitres attributed to each query.
| Litres | – |
Use this calculator for a planning total of cooling and generation water attributed to chatbot or image queries, not a data-centre design.
The calculation is: litres = queries × ml per query / 1,000. Millilitres per query can be entered in millilitres (ml) or fluid ounces (fl oz); they convert to ml before the formula. The litre total is shown in litres (L) or gallons (gal). The default 10 ml/query is an order-of-magnitude figure; published estimates vary widely by model, region, and whether they include electricity-generation water.
This is not a measured bill from a provider.
Queries: How many prompts you want to total.
ml / query: Water attributed to one query, in ml or fl oz.
Litres: Total water for that batch.
