Use this calculator to turn a real focal length and crop factor into a 35 mm-equivalent focal length and a horizontal angle of view. Enter the actual focal length, the crop factor versus 35 mm still, and the uncropped sensor width. Equivalent = focal × crop. Horizontal FOV = 2 × atan((full width / crop) / (2 × focal)). 35 mm on a 1.5× crop is 52.5 mm equivalent. Distortion, aspect crop, and video-mode masking are ignored.
