Use this calculator on a line or a desk when you know elapsed minutes and pieces completed.
Cycle time is minutes ÷ units. 480 minutes and 40 units is 12 minutes each. Lead time (wait plus process) is a different clock. Takt uses customer demand instead of pieces finished.
Minutes: Available or elapsed minutes.
Units: How many pieces finished, not zero.
Min / unit: Average cycle time.
