Use this calculator for a first-pass desk height before you fine-tune with elbow height.
Sitting height is about 0.43 × stature. Standing height is about 0.61 × stature. 170 cm stature suggests about 73 cm sitting and 104 cm standing. Height can be centimetres (cm) or inches (in); the desk heights use the same unit. Elbow height while typing is a better check. Chair, shoes, and keyboard thickness move the number.
