About this calculator

Use this EBITDA calculator for a simplified P&L when cash operating costs are already split from depreciation. It is not IFRS-adjusted or add-back EBITDA.

EBITDA = revenue − cash operating costs. EBIT = EBITDA − D&A. EBT = EBIT − interest. Net income = EBT − tax. EBITDA margin = 100 × EBITDA ÷ revenue. Enter D&A, interest, and tax as 0 if they do not apply. Cash operating costs here exclude depreciation and amortisation.

Revenue: Sales for the period.

Cash operating costs: Cash opex excluding D&A.

D&A: Depreciation and amortisation.

Interest: Interest expense.

Tax: Tax charge (currency, not a rate).

EBITDA, EBIT, EBT, Net income: The ladder of profits.

EBITDA margin (%): EBITDA as a percent of revenue.
