About this calculator

Use this enterprise-value calculator for a listed-company sketch. Shares × price can be in millions if debt, cash, EBITDA, and sales are too. Minority interest, preferred stock, and leases are omitted.

Market cap = shares × price. EV = market cap + debt − cash. EV/EBITDA is 0 if EBITDA is 0. Keep every money figure in the same units.

Shares: Shares outstanding (same scale you want on market cap).

Price: Share price.

Debt: Gross financial debt you want in EV (or net if you set cash to 0).

Cash: Cash and equivalents subtracted in EV.

EBITDA: Trailing or forward EBITDA for the multiple.

Sales: Trailing or forward sales for EV/Sales.

Market cap: Shares × price.

EV: Enterprise value.

EV/EBITDA and EV/Sales: The two multiples.
