Equilibrium Constant Calculator

Calculate K or Q from a product term divided by a reactant term.

K or Q

About this calculator

Use this calculator when the ICE table is done and you have the multiplied concentrations (or pressures) on each side.

K (or Q) = products ÷ reactants. Type the already-powered, already-multiplied terms, for example (0.10)² in the product box if the law has [C]². Units follow whatever you put in. The reactant term must be greater than zero.

This is a single ratio. It does not expand a full mass-action expression from a reaction equation.

Numerator (products): Numerator of K: concentrations or pressures already raised to their powers and multiplied.

Denominator (reactants): Denominator the same way. Cannot be zero.

K or Q: Equilibrium constant or reaction quotient from that ratio.
