Use this for synthesis, tuning, or a score that quotes MIDI numbers. Frequency = 440 × 2^((MIDI − 69) / 12). MIDI 69 is A4 at 440 Hz. MIDI 60 is middle C at about 261.63 Hz. MIDI 21 is A0; MIDI 108 is C8. Tuning systems other than 12-tone equal temperament, and A4 other than 440 Hz, are out of scope.
