Convert decimal odds to implied probability, or a probability to fair decimal odds.
| Result | – |
Use this calculator to move between decimal (European) odds and a probability. Bookmakers quote decimal odds; implied probability is 1 divided by those odds. In the other direction, fair decimal odds are 1 divided by the probability.
From odds: result = 1 / odds. Decimal 2.50 implies 40%. From probability: result = 1 / p. A probability of 0.4 implies fair decimal odds of 2.50. Enter p as a proportion from 0 to 1, not a percent.
Bookmaker overround (juice) is ignored, so quoted odds are treated as fair. Fractional and moneyline quotes are not converted here. Probability must be below 1 to produce finite odds.
Direction: Odds to probability, or probability to odds.
Decimal odds: Decimal quote, used when converting from odds. 2.50 is a common example.
Probability: Value from 0 to 1, used when converting from p.
Result: Implied probability or fair decimal odds, according to the direction.
