How many identical boxes fit on a pallet, trying both plan rotations.
| Boxes | – |
Use this calculator to pack a single layer of identical boxes on a rectangular pallet. Enter box length and width and pallet length and width. All four lengths can be centimetres (cm) or inches (in); the unit selector converts them to centimetres before the formula. The box count is a whole number, so the display unit does not change it.
The tool tries both in-plane rotations and keeps the larger floor(pallet / box) product. 40×30 cm boxes on 120×80 cm fit 8 in one orientation. Height stacking, gaps, overhangs, and mixed SKUs are ignored.
Box length / width: Footprint of one box. Enter cm or in.
Pallet length / width: Deck size. Enter cm or in.
