About this calculator

Use this multiples calculator to screen a stock the way a simple comparable table would. PEG here is P/E divided by the growth number as a percent (Peter Lynch style: P/E of 15 and 15% growth gives PEG = 1), not divided by 0.15. Negative EPS makes P/E negative; zero EPS reports P/E and PEG as 0.

P/E = price ÷ EPS. P/B = price ÷ book per share. P/S = price ÷ sales per share. PEG = (P/E) ÷ growth%. Growth must be positive. Keep price, book, and sales in the same per-share currency.

Price: Current share price.

EPS: Earnings per share (trailing or forward; stay consistent).

Book / share: Book value per share.

Sales / share: Revenue per share.

Growth (%): Expected annual EPS growth as a percent, e.g. 12 for 12%.

P/E, P/B, P/S: The three price multiples.

PEG: P/E over the growth percent.
