Milligrams of KOH needed per gram of fat.

Use this calculator for oil characterization when you titrated a known fat mass with KOH and want SV.
The calculation is SV = mg KOH / grams of fat. Higher SV means shorter average chains. Fat mass may be entered in grams (g), ounces (oz), or pounds (lb); the calculator converts to grams. KOH stays in milligrams.
This is the definition of saponification value, not a full ISO titration worksheet (blank, titre, and moisture are assumed already folded into mg KOH).
KOH (mg): Milligrams of KOH consumed by the sample.
Fat: Fat or oil mass in g, oz, or lb.
Saponification value: mg KOH per gram of fat.
