Lace length from eyelet pairs, spacing, and spare for a bow.
| Length | – |
Use this as a shop starting point, not a last. Length = eyelet pairs × gap × 2 + 40 cm spare for the bow. Six pairs 4 cm apart is about 88 cm. Wide boots and extra wraps want more spare; the 40 cm is a typical bow, not a hiking wrap. Gap and length can be centimetres or inches.
Eyelet pairs: How many pairs of holes.
Gap: Typical spacing between pairs.
Length: Suggested lace length including bow spare.
