Use this for a water-saving comparison. Volume = flow × minutes. Cost = (litres ÷ 1000) × price per m³. 9 L/min for 8 minutes is 72 L, about 0.18 at 2.50 per m³. Heating energy is not included. Flow can be litres per minute or gallons per minute; volume follows (L or gal). Price stays per cubic metre of water.
Flow: Shower flow rate.
Minutes: How long the water runs.
Price per m³: Volumetric water price.
