Convert degrees to radians, or gon, arcminutes, and arcseconds, when a formula wants a different angle unit.
| Result | – |
Use this when a CAD drawing is in degrees, a math function wants radians, or a survey note uses gon (grads). Type the angle, pick the unit it is already in, then pick the unit you want.
Everything is converted through degrees. A full turn is 360°, 2π radians, or 400 gon. Arcminutes and arcseconds are 1/60 and 1/3600 of a degree.
Value: The angle you have, without a unit symbol — just the number.
From: The unit that number is already in.
To: The unit you want back.
Result: The same angle in the To unit.
