Use this calculator for a Nadler estimate of total blood volume. For men: 0.3669 × height_m³ + 0.03219 × kg + 0.6041. For women: 0.3561 × height_m³ + 0.03308 × kg + 0.1833, with volume in litres. Donor eligibility is a questionnaire, not this formula.
Weight can be entered in kilograms (kg) or pounds (lb). Height can be entered in centimetres (cm) or inches (in). Volume is shown in litres (L) and millilitres (ml); if you pick an imperial volume unit it follows that choice (gal / fl oz).
