Use this when a schematic says 0.1 µF and the parts drawer is labelled in nF, or a datasheet mixed prefixes. Type the capacitance, pick the prefix it is written with, then pick the prefix you want.
Conversion is linear through the farad. 1 µF = 1000 nF = 1 000 000 pF. It does not check voltage rating or ESR.
Value: The capacitance printed on the part or in the schematic.
From: The prefix that number is written with (µF, nF, pF, F).
To: The prefix you want to read it in.
Result: The same capacitance in the To prefix.
