Use this calculator for Child-Pugh points. Bilirubin <2 / 2–3 / >3 mg/dl scores 1 / 2 / 3. Albumin >3.5 / 2.8–3.5 / <2.8 g/dl scores 1 / 2 / 3. INR <1.7 / 1.7–2.3 / >2.3 scores 1 / 2 / 3. Ascites and encephalopathy are entered as 1 none, 2 mild, 3 severe. Class A is 5–6, B 7–9, C 10–15. MELD is the transplant-list cousin. This is not a listing decision.

Albumin: Serum albumin, g/dl.
INR: International normalised ratio.
Ascites: 1 none, 2 mild, 3 tense.
Encephalopathy: 1 none, 2 grade 1–2, 3 grade 3–4.
