Use this calculator to add the five CURB-65 flags. Each yes is 1 point. Urea high means urea >7 mmol/L (BUN >19 mg/dl). RR ≥30 means respiratory rate 30 or more. Low BP means SBP under 90 or DBP 60 or under. Age ≥65 and new confusion complete the set. PSI is a longer sibling. This is not an admission order by itself.
Urea high: Urea above the CURB cut-off.
RR ≥30: Respiratory rate 30 or more.
Low BP: SBP under 90 or DBP 60 or under.
Age ≥65: Age 65 or more.
Confusion: New confusion.
Score: CURB-65 total (0–5).
