Use this calculator for SV = EDV − ESV and EF = 100 × SV / EDV. Volumes come from the method you trust (Simpson, 3D). EDV must exceed ESV. This is not a strain report.
Volumes can be entered in millilitres (ml) or fluid ounces (fl oz). Stroke volume follows that choice.
EDV: End-diastolic volume, in ml or fl oz.
ESV: End-systolic volume, in ml or fl oz.
Stroke volume: EDV minus ESV.
EF: Ejection fraction, percent.
