Use this calculator when you time how long a known volume takes to fill. Enter the volume and the time in seconds.
Flow (L/s) = volume ÷ seconds. L/min = that × 60. GPM = L/min ÷ 3.785411784. Volume can be entered in litres (L) or gallons (gal). L/min can display as L/min or gpm via the unit selector; L/s and GPM are also listed so you can read all three.
This is a bucket-and-stopwatch conversion. It is not a pipe-friction or pump curve.
