Use this calculator to sum the five HEART items after you have already assigned 0, 1, or 2 from the original paper. History is how suspicious the story is. ECG is repolarisation change. Age is 0 if under 45, 1 if 45–64, 2 if 65 or older. Risk factors include hypertension, diabetes, smoking, obesity, family history, and known atherosclerosis. Troponin is 0 at or under the cut-off.
