Use this calculator for a gravity set: ml/h = volume ÷ hours, and gtt/min = ml/h × drop factor ÷ 60. Macro sets are often 20 gtt/ml; micro sets are often 60 gtt/ml.
Volume can be entered in millilitres (ml) or fluid ounces (floz). Hours stay in hours. This is not a pump programming check.
Volume: Bag or prescribed volume, in ml or floz.
Hours: Infusion duration in hours.
Drop factor (gtt/ml): Set calibration, often 20 or 60.
ml / h: Hourly volume rate.
gtt / min: Drops per minute.
