Use this calculator for MAP = (SBP + 2 × DBP) ÷ 3 and pulse pressure = SBP − DBP. The one-third / two-thirds sketch assumes diastole lasts about twice systole; an invasive arterial MAP can differ. Blood-pressure category tables are a separate page. Values are in mmHg.
