About this calculator

Use this for print size: 3000 px at 300 DPI is 10 inches wide. Also handy for screen CSS pixels versus physical size at 96 DPI.

Inches = pixels ÷ DPI, then millimetres = inches × 25.4. DPI must be positive. This is one dimension, not a full page layout.

Pixels: How many pixels along the side you care about.

DPI: Dots (or pixels) per inch — 96 for many screens, 300 for typical print.

Inches: Physical length at that DPI.

mm: The same length in millimetres.
