Calculate save percentage and goals-against average per 60 minutes.

Use this calculator to turn a goalkeeper line into save percentage and goals-against average. Enter saves, shots on goal, goals against, and minutes played.
Save percentage = saves ÷ shots. Goals-against average = goals against × 60 ÷ minutes, the hockey (or lacrosse) per-60 rate. 30 saves on 33 shots is .909; 3 goals in 60 minutes is a 3.00 GAA. Soccer often quotes a per-90 rate instead: enter 90 in the minutes box for a full soccer match, or scale minutes to the period you care about.
This is a simple rate for the numbers you enter, not quality-start, expected goals against, or a rebound-control metric.
Saves: Shots stopped.
Shots: Shots on goal faced.
Goals against: Goals allowed.
Minutes: Minutes played. 60 is a full hockey game.
SV%: Saves divided by shots, as a three-decimal rate such as .909.
GAA: Goals allowed per 60 minutes.
